My Version: Lehali.

New

My Version chats to stars and people of influence to give a glimpse into their time as a teen and see the things they are currently obsessed with!

Say hello to rising Aotearoa-Pasifika star Rosalie Norton aka Lehali!

Obsessed RN.

Currently bingeing:

The OG, Avatar the Last Airbender, for the 500th time!

Song on repeat:

PIXEL PIXIE by Spdrtwnbby.

Favourite Insta account to follow:

Aotearoa Liberation League.

Must have beauty product:

Mascara and moisturiser!

The item of clothing I’m definitely over wearing:

The same two jumpers, all day, everyday.

Currently reading:

Way too many Social Policy textbooks.

Snacking on:

Pizza bread and Indomie Mi Goreng noodles.

Can’t stop watching on TikTok:

The Morning Shift clips.

Dreaming of:

A world where all indigenous peoples have complete access to their land and a world free of genocide.

Next place on the list to travel to:

Vanuatu.

I’m currently inspired by:

All the other rangatahi in Aotearoa using their voices for good.

My favourite way to relax is:

Singing and playing around with my guitar.

I stay healthy by:

Making sure I get out of the house almost everyday and go for walks along the awa.

When I was younger…

One thing I love about Gen-Z is:

That we are growing up in a time where speaking your truth is more accepted and empowered! Gen-z speak from their heart, and show the generations before us they can do the same.

If I could give my teenage self one bit of advice, what would it be:

Even though I’m still a teenager, I would tell my younger self to not get caught up in all the little things, because none of that high school drama matters in the end.

My favourite part of being a teenager was:

Getting to jam with my friends every lunchtime at school, and having so much free time to be creative and have fun daily!

My first job was:

Waitressing.

My dream job as a teen was:

Being a performer and recording artist.

Best piece of advice I ever received as a teen was:

To be myself no matter what and to trust my intuition.

My biggest fashion faux-pas was:

Thinking I looked good with a curly haired fringe.

My biggest inspiration was:

My nana, my mum, my sister and the other amazing wahine I had and still have surrounding me.
