Fifteen amazing Kiwi songstresses to check out ASAP.

Our little country at the bottom of the world definitely punches above its weight.

We achieve some awesome things but one area we particularly excel is music.

New Zealand has been the home to some absolute legends who have taken the world by storm with their tunes - yes i’m looking at you Lorde & Benee! But there are so many other talented young wahine out there waiting to be heard!

May is Te Marama Puoro o Aotearoa 2022 aka NZ Music Month. Each year there is a new theme and for 2022 it’s about encouraging Aotearoa to ‘Level Up’.

Level Up is about bringing into focus tomorrow’s stars, showcasing up-and-coming talent and success stories, and celebrating what emerging success means for the New Zealand artists.

We’ve pulled together a list of fifteen young Kiwi wahine who you should absolutely add to your playlist ASAP!
