Why you need a new pillow, stat.

I have always been pretty picky when it comes to my pillows. Like I would take my pillow every time I went to a sleepover etc. because I couldn’t bear a night using someone else’s.

I mean when you spend 8 hours plus with your head snuggled up on it, it’s gotta be worthy.

I always found it really hard to find the perfect balance between a soft pillow that feels like I’m floating on a cloud but also a pillow firm enough to support my neck.

The great thing was, I found my ideal in the form of a foam rubber situation but sadly it was coming to the end of its life which was creating issues for my neck and upper back. In fact, you should replace your pillow every 1-2 years otherwise it becomes unsupportive, dirty, and full of allergens. Super yuck. Like literally if you need a reason to replace your current pillow, just google “how dirty is a pillow” 🤢🤢🤢

I knew it was time to part with my dearly beloved and find a new pillow to lay my head down on every night. So when the team at Emma asked if I wanted to try their Foam Pillow, it was a huge yes.

You should always invest in a pillow that supports your neck and adjusts to how you sleep so you don’t become decrepit with neck pain at 27 like me lol. Since most people can be considered ‘mixed sleepers’ that change their sleeping position through the night, a good pillow should be flexible. Ideally it should have a harder and a softer side and be variable in height with removable inner layers like the Emma Foam Pillow.

The Emma foam pillow has three inner layers that you can chop and change to what is most comfortable. I found that having all three layers was a bit high for me and had my neck tilted too far forward. So the next night I took out one layer and it has been perfection ever since. My head is well supported and I have been noticing I need to make less trips to the physio since using it.

The moment your head hits the pillow, you want that sense of relief and weightlessness because it’s sleep time and that’s the best time.

A good pillow that relieves pressure and distributes weight across your head, neck and shoulders will ensure you sleep as snug as a bug in a rug. Especially because when you sleep roughly 229,961 hours in your lifetime, it better be good! I have found memory foam often too firm for me in the past but this pillow has just the right balance of firmness and comfort so I don’t wake up feeling like I slept on the floor.

I think one of the hardest parts of finding a new pillow is literally finding one. Committing to a pillow is so hard when you can’t try before you buy! I don’t even know how much time I’ve spent at Briscoes just staring at the pillow wall only to leave empty handed because I don’t want to spend $100 plus on something I don’t know will be any good.

But with the Emma Sleep Foam Pillow, enjoy a 30 night trial to test it out. If your pillow isn’t quite right within the trial, Emma Sleep ensures a guaranteed return! I mean how good is that!

Honestly, I have been genuinely impressed with this pillow. I have noticed actual differences in the way I sleep and how my neck and back pain (LOL I’M SO OLD) has become significantly better since I started using it.

If you are having trouble sleeping, experiencing head or neck pain whilst sleeping or when you wake up, or your pillow is older than two years old - I would highly recommend you look for a new one ASAP. Even better, buy the Emma Foam Pillow because I think it’s pretty legit.
