Skincare essentials under $25.

With so many affordable skincare products reaching cult-status, there’s no need to reach for the most expensive products on the shelf.

Billie’s picked out a handful of products that are known to sell out, have glowing reviews and deliver great value for money and most importantly, results.

1. Sunscreen

Biore UV Sunscreen SPF50+ - $24.90

This Japanese sunscreen has a loyal following and for good reason. Delivering a high level of sun coverage while being lightweight and waterproof, it’s a must-have for summer. It can also be found in the cosmetic section of some Japanese stores.

Available from The Cosmetic Store.

2. Acne Treatment

COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch - $6

It’s the night before a big event and you see a pimple start to form. No need to panic – leave on a pimple patch overnight and say goodnight to redness and bumps. COSRX’s patches err on the larger size, tackling even the biggest of those pesky pimples.

You can buy these from Hikoco or iHerb.

3. Serum

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - $12.80

Niacinamide – hard to pronounce but easy to love. Known to reduce both oiliness and redness in the skin, it’s a powerhouse for those with acne-prone skin. This serum from The Ordinary is a great way to give niacinamide a go without breaking the bank.

You can shop The Ordinary at Farmers.

4. Moisturiser

Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid - $14

While technically not a moisturising cream, hyaluronic acid is known to be deeply hydrating without being greasy. Hyaluronic is so powerful, it will pull moisturiser from wherever it can – so remember to use this product on damp skin so it pulls water into, not out of, the skin. Inkey List’s hyaluronic acid is loved all around the world and now is available in New Zealand from Sephora.

5. Cleanser

Trilogy Cream Cleanser - $14.99

Cream cleansers are gentle and suitable for all skincare types. Best of all, it helps to remove makeup without leaving the skin feeling tight and dry. Trilogy has been a long favourite of mums around New Zealand – but its new branding will look sharp on any bathroom counter.
