How to style your sneakers.
If you’re reading this, then welcome sneaker fan 💕
Sneakers are definitely having a moment and wherever you look, people are wearing their favourite style.
Puma has dropped their new MAYZE Raw sneakers, and they are SUPER chic.
Even better, these shoes are endorsed by the Queen herself, Dua Lipa. Naturally I love everything Dua does so I’m sold on these.
We’ve pulled together a style guide for three easy looks to pair with the new Puma Mayze Raw’s, as well as a chance to win your own pair!
Keeping It Casual.
The 90’s are back with a vengeance which for someone born in the early 90s, is a bit triggering. However, there are some looks from that era that I definitely still love.
One is the oversized look that I reckon will forever be cool. You can’t go past a cute, oversized sweater and a pair of Levi’s for a stylish look that also looks like you just rolled out of bed and put on the first things you found on the floor.
Grab a cute, coloured sweater or something with a cool logo/screenprint, pair with a straight leg jean and a warm beanie for this cold weather (or in true grunge style - to hide the fact you didn’t brush your hair this morning).
Look details from L to R: Puma Mayze Raw in Chalk Pink ($180.00), Country Road Verified Australian Cotton Heritage Sweat in Soft Pink ($139.00), LEVI'S Ribcage Straight Ankle Jeans ($169.00). Huffer Fisherman Beanie in Chalk ($59.00)
Playing Dress Up.
Honestly there is nothing I love more than a pair of comfy shoes, particularly in a dressy setting.
Obviously, you won’t be wearing sneakers to your school formal but if you’re going out for dinner or off to a concert, Mayze Raw sneakers are the perfect pair for this.
Grab those shoes and pair them with a knit dress and a leather jacket and finish off the look with a nice pair of earrings. Go hard on the winged eyeliner or a bright lip for added ooomph. (Just please not both together!!)
Look details from L to R: Puma Mayze Raw in Puma Black ($180.00), Glassons Side Split Knit Midi Dress ($39.99), Seed Heritage Coil Hoops ($24.99), Zara Faux Leather Jacket ($109.00)
Sporty Spice.
Athleisure is still having a moment and honestly, I don’t know what I did before it was socially acceptable to wear tights as pants.
Although these are not sports shoes, they are perfect for your athleisure look or simply to just wear on your way to yoga/a walk in the park/bubble tea with your gals.
I LOVE this baby blue bra and tights set from Cotton On, particularly because it is a part of the Sydney Sweeney collection.
Because the weather is a little bit all over the place still, I’d pair it with this adorable puffer from Toast Society as well as a pair of sunnies from Le Specs.
Naturally all the pastels make the chalk pink Mayzes the perfect match for this athletic look.
Look details from L to R: Puma Mayze Raw in Chalk Pink ($180.00), Cotton On Ultimate Zip Front Crop and Booty Pocket Full Length Tight ($39.99 & $64.99), Le Specs Work It! Sunglasses in Beige ($79.00), Toast Society Jupiter Puffer Jacket in Mint ($159.00)
Love these looks? You’re in luck!
