Extra for experts: How to apply fake lashes.
The team at Ardell have a few tips and tricks for mastering the application of fake lashes:
Always trim your set of lashes so they fit your eye perfectly! If they’re too big they can drag your eyelid down or stick out at the ends. Line up the set of lashes against your lash line and make sure to trim the outer part only.
To prevent an overload of glue on each lash, apply glue to the rounded edge of tweezers and use that to gently apply to the strip
Once the glue is applied, wait until the glue feels tacky by blowing on them for 10 seconds – this way they will stick on rather than slide around when you first apply
For the finest application, use a lash applicator to place the lashes on – Ardell’s Dual Lash Applicator is NZ $9.99
To ensure you can re-use your lashes multiple times, make sure to use mascara on top sparingly (only if needed) and peel off excess glue after removing lashes
