My Version: Gracie Moller.

New

My Version chats to Kiwi stars and people of influence to give a glimpse into their time as a teen and see the things they are currently obsessed with!

Say hello to Kiwi songstress Gracie Moller, who has just released her first single mess for you.

Obsessed RN.

Currently bingeing:

bojack horseman. idk how this happened because i was never really into the adult cartoon vibe but here we are.

Song on repeat:

‘welcome to my island’ by Caroline Polachek. i’m a hugeeee song repeater. a song becomes a hyper fixation for me and i listen to it for comfort. it gets to the point where the people around me get fed up

Favourite Insta account to follow:

i follow an account called @cherriesnmoonlight and i love it because it just gives the delusional girly content that needs to be given.

Must have beauty product:

my best friend got me the Kosas wet lip oil for christmas and it’s the best. i’ll literally wear that just by itself with no makeup if i’m feeling lazy. i’m actually really stressed i’ve lost it now because i can’t find it anywhere.

The item of clothing I’m definitely over wearing:

lace, but imo you can’t over wear it.

Currently reading:

i finished it a few weeks ago but ‘i’m glad my mom died’ by Jennette McCurdy. She tells her story in such a hilarious and intensely relatable way, but it’s also heartbreaking. I cried.

Snacking on:

Tamari Almonds.

Can’t stop watching on TikTok:

i love @sylvaniandrama. i never had sylvanians as a kid but this account is really making me wish i had. i used to play a similarly unhinged version of littlest pet shops with my cousin and it takes me back.

Dreaming of:

playing live! i can’t wait to book my first show

Next place on the list to travel to:

London I hope! I’ve never been there before and there’s a producer I've started working with over there as well.

I’m currently inspired by:

i’m currently really inspired by RAYE. her story is so crazy, the tenacity she had to keep pushing forward and to keep on making music is so inspiring

My favourite way to relax is:

i’ve been doing this new thing ever since i got my license where i get in my car and drive around and listen to really loud music. i might get a diet coke i might get a coffee who knows. i might drive up a mountain and just sit there for a bit. it kind of helps me get back to homeostasis in a weird way

I stay healthy by:

mostly i’m gluten and dairy free. i have a thyroid condition called hashimotos which can be exacerbated by those things so i try my best but i’m not always successful.

When I was younger…

If I could give my teenage self one bit of advice, what would it be:

Oh god, what don’t i wish i had told my teenage self. it would probably be: stop trying to fit in with people you don’t even like

My dream job as a teen was:

being a songwriter!!!

Best piece of advice I ever received as a teen was:

live laugh love. carl jung said that and it really stuck with me.

My favourite part of being a teenager is:

How exciting and new dating was. the older i got the more those feelings turned into dread and fear of being alone

My first job was:

working in a vintage store ‘magic hollow’ when i was 15.

My biggest fashion faux-pas was:

probably like really colourful sparkly things. i was into vengaboys-esque fashion for a while.

My biggest inspiration was:

taylor swift - ofc.

One thing I love about Gen Z is:

our sense of humour.
