My Version: Emma Dilemma.
My Version chats to stars and people of influence to give a glimpse into their time as a teen and see the things they are currently obsessed with!
This New Zealand Music Month, we are celebrating by profiling some amazing wahine in the music industry!

Obsessed RN.
Kiwi musician/band that I’m loving:
Tadpole!!! haha but, outside of being obsessed with my new big brothers; NO COMPLY 🔥
I’ll be celebrating New Zealand Music Month (NZMM) by:
Leaning in to all the magical moments I have had this month in my own music career! Releasing Ready or Not, playing my first shows in Asia, collaborating on new music with artists from all around the world, and ending with the start of this 12-date NZ tour singing for Tadpole!
NZMM is important to me because:
I am a proud New Zealand artist! And I can’t wait to share that with the world soon.
My favourite thing about the New Zealand music scene is:
Our general attitude; almost everyone is in it for the love it and it shows.
Currently bingeing:
On the wonders of existing!!!
Song on repeat:
Cool Water by AQ & Madjik tHa SoulRebel.
Favourite Insta account to follow:
Must have beauty product:
SPF 50+ - ERRYDAY!!!
The item of clothing I’m definitely over wearing:
The half-and-half jacket me and Bianca made for the Ready or Not video!
Currently reading:
The Tarot cards.
Snacking on:

Can’t stop watching on TikTok:
Dreaming of:
My full potential coming in to bloom
Next place on the list to travel to:
After this tour finishes - literally Bali, Malaysia, Los Angeles, St Louis, Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and back to Los Angeles then New York and then finally my home in Christchurch again! 2024 is the year I take the most important risks!
I’m currently inspired by:
Hip Hop, Rap and RnB.
My favourite way to relax is:
Writing, Tarot, Reading, Yoga.
I stay healthy by:
Prioritisng my own needs and happiness so I can give my best to the people who matter.
When I was younger…
One thing I love about Gen-Z is:
Y’all not afraid to be yourselves and have your own sense of individuality and style - something i wish felt available to me in my youth.
If I could give my teenage self one bit of advice, what would it be:
The bullies are just jealous of your shine; don’t dull it out for ANYONE.
My favourite part of being a teenager was:
Not having to have a schedule to be able to make money and just living freely. Any PAs out there keen to work with an unhinged artist? I’m looking 😂
My first job was:
Walking my little sister and her best friend to school on Wednesdays.
My dream job as a teen was:
Performing Artist.
My biggest fashion faux-pas was:
Trying to fit in with what other people were wearing 🥱
